My wife and I bought our 2006 Estima from Abs and Sami from Sydney City Traders about 6 months ago now. Apologies for not doing a review sooner (probably because we've been too busy enjoying our new car :)
Their service was prompt, honest and extremely helpful. Compared to other dealers - without hassle - I was able to see the Japanese Auction report, de-reg certificate and other documentation that showed the car's history.
Prior to purchase I had the car checked by a third party (actually by another car dealer who was kind enough to offer me help) and checked the kilometres and auction report for the Estima - which came through as all genuine. In doing this check, I was also able to uncover two other cars I was interested in from other dealerships which came in as having odometers wound back. Immediately I knew that I could trust Sydney City Traders.
When I went to inspect the car in person it was absolutely top-notch quality for its age and reflective of the kilometres driven. I checked everything I normally would when buying a used car, electrics all working, coolant, oil and fluids condition and cleanliness, signs of leaks, moisture/dampness, engine idle, steering and suspension noises, smoothness of automatic transmission, rust, accident repair. And I could not fault this car.
The Estima we bought is our most loved car that we own, it's so practical and the quality and features is perfect for our young family. Thanks again to Sami, Abs and the team for keeping the industry reliable and honest.
